This post is for the sake of posting. I haven't really done anything, I just feel that a post has to be made.
Key points of this post:
-I really haven't done anything.
-I'm just got back Tennessee, and an 11 hour car drive.
-I'm tired.
-I want to go to bed.
-I wrote some song lyrics.
Please forgive me for not posting in 3 or 4 days, I've been somewhat preoccupied with personal things.
Just another thing before I get some well deserved sleep, just to make things clear.
I'm not quitting the blog, and if I ever do, I'll say so. Even if I don't post for like 2 weeks, (an absolute worst case scenario, as I'm still going to try to post once every 1 or 2 days depending if I have anything interesting to talk about) it's because Comcast is being the idiots they are, or I'm otherwise physically unable to post.
Christmas is in 2 days, and I'm gonna be getting some new stuffs (a new bass and amp among the various goodies I'm recieving, XD) and I'm pretty damned excited about it. So until that magical day of wrapping paper and cardboard shredding, I bid you all adieu!

I'm In Tennessee Edition
Hello everyone! Are your holiday plans going smoothly? Good. I don't see why I live in Florida, the geography's boring. I'm still excited by anything larger than a small hill, so you can imagine I'm having a pretty good time up here in Tennesee (there are differences in altitude EVERYWHERE. I'ts not natural I tell you.)
I've actually done some things in the past 2 days concerning music, which was a surprise to me. Turns out my grandpa has a Stratocaster, and it plays pretty damn well. I actually worked out some more chord progressions, and wrote some new lyrics (I was inspired by Coldplay's music, lolwut) yesterday and today, so at least I'm getting some stuff done up here.
That's about it. Despite having done some stuff, this post is rather short, which is weird. I have to go Christmas shopping soon, so I'll see you guys in a day or two!

Not Much of Anything At All To Post Edition
The title says it all. Lately we just haven't been getting much of anything done. I blame the holidays. But back to what little actual substance this post has:
I worked on some chord progressions today. That's it.
This post is going to be pretty puny (see how many paragraphs I've made? That's me trying to make up for the lack of substance in this post). Seriously, I'm running out of creative ways to say we haven't done anything. Hopefully we'll start to get stuff done in January.
In other news, I'm going to be in Tennessee for a week (6 days, close enough). It is for that reason that I might not post something every single day. Even when I do post something this week, it'll most likely be more personal than band related.
Until then, merry Christmas/Winter Solstice/Kwanzaa/Hanukkah/wtverdafuq else you might celebrate this time of year, and to all a good night!

Comcast Sucks Edition
Yeah, I missed a day, sorry. I would have posted something yesterday, but thanks to Comcast's inability to do it's job providing "high speed internet faster than anything ever", I couldn't. Seriously. If what happened to Circuit City happened to Comcast, I would laugh. Maniacally.
But back to business.
So again, not much has happened lately. I was going to have Mike come over and help me do clutter removal today, but we ended just going to Walmart with Daniel and falling. If you aren't up to date on the oh-so-very silly practical jokes of the internet, here's what falling is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFkXnfinpkY.
Yeah, funny stuff.
I've taught Mike some more stuff on guitar, and I've written some lyrics to a new song or whatever.
There's not much being done about anything at the moment band-wise, and I guess there won't be until we actually get some practice in with the entire band, and we can't do that until January because of everyone going to other places for Christmas (I'm going up to Tennessee, yay!)
So yeah, lots of inactivity going on. That's all I have to show for I guess, I wish more would happen nowadays. So I'll see you guys tomorrow (through the slim hope that Comcast decides to do it's job tomorrow), bye!

I'm Tired And Want To Go To Bed Edition
Bleh. I'm tired. This post should be pretty short, seeing how there's not much to report. Today, I've mostly been busy with pony related things, such as fanfic, stalking ask*insertponynamehere* tumblr pages, general "Dawww look it's Fluttershy in socks!" nonsense, checking EquestriaDaily every few minutes, and converting non-bronies on Omegle (I'm oh so useful).
In a nutshell, here's what little activity has transpired in the last 24 hours or so that's kinda band-related:
-I've done nothing to work on songs and stuff (I'm sooo lazy)
-I've listened to more music
-Gray has says he's finished the logo for the band, but I have yet to see it
-I haven't even made a dent towards getting the garage ready to practice in
-We haven't made up our minds about the whole "A2K" or "A2TK" thing (we need to decide that, leik naow)
That's basically it. Not one of our more productive days. Hopefully we get more stuff done tomorrow, and I'll see you then!

*Insert Creative Title Here*
I guess this is my third post, and I have some fairly interesting things to report on. But before I do that, I just want to make something clear. I am not the sole owner of this band. There are several other people working on this, and I'm not doing all the work by myself. Sure, I'm the leader, but I'm in no way better than any of my band mates or anypony (Bronyism ftw) else working on this project. This is a group effort between me and my friends. Hell, if anything, they're working harder than me. All I did was start it. But back to the bloggy thingy.
So, we decided to forget that other band and keep calling ourselves Arrow To The Knee. This pleases me, but it only opened up another argument: Are the band's initials "A2TK", or "A2K"? Personally, I don't care much one way or another (although I think A2TK looks a tad better). But the issue still hasn't been decided, and I'm sure we'll figure it out tomorrow or something. On a completely unrelated note, Mike deleted his Facebook for some reason, so it makes it that much harder to communicate.
Also, we've finally filled all of the musical positions (XD), adding a kid named Parker to the band. He'll be playing the bass, and he's a excellent addition the the group. So here's that list again:
-Me (lead/rhythm guitar and vocals)
-Scott (trumpet)
-Parker (bass)
-Mike (rhythm/lead guitar)
-Zach (drums)
I'm glad we don't have to worry about who's playing what now, at least. Also, I feel I should also give recognition to a few other people who aren't necessarily working on the music aspect of the project, such as...
-Gray (designing the band logo, and supplying with whatever we might need in the field of graphic design)
-Mike (doing a lot of the expensive stuff, and he's our "manager" at the moment)
-A bunch of my friends who give input on my songs and ideas
Well whatever you're doing to help us with getting our band on the roll, I sure do appreciate it. A lot.
On a different note, we should be up and playing some stuff and practicing before too long. And apparently, we'll be practicing in my garage (which is filled to the brim with clutter, so I'll have to clean that out at some point), and me and whoever else will have to move all of our equipment in there as well. At the moment I'm working on finding some songs we can cover that sort of highlight each of the instruments in our group, and to assess their skills and whatnot.
Musically speaking, I haven't really done much since last post. I've derped around on guitar going nowhere, and listened to some more music, as always. But yeah, pretty much all I'm doing at the moment I'm trying to find some songs to showcase the skills of our members, and trying to write some fairly upbeat lyrics for a change. Of course, I don't exactly need to rush, as we're only going to be covering songs for the most part at the beginning. It would also be cool if someone else would write some songs, so I don't have to do all of them. But I can only complain about so many things, and so far the whole project is doing far beyond my expectations (Oh first world problems, you never cease to amaze me).
I can't really say when we'll be putting up songs on Youtube or whatever, but all that will come in time, and that time will hopefully be soon. Oh, and one more thing. This isn't exactly meant to be the band's official blog, but more of my blog documenting the progress of the band. So if you're saying to yourself that I'm talking about myself too much, or I'm going about writing this blog all wrong, that might be a reason why.
So I guess I'll see ya'll next time, and thanks for reading!

The Second Post
Alright, my second update to this blog thing. A fair amount of activity (somewhat related to the band) has happened in the last 2 days. Oh, and that's another thing, I'm going to start posting once every day if I can. Once every 3 days just seems like too long of a time period between not posting and posting again. But anywho, I missed yesterday's post because I was busy (lazy) writing songs 'nd junk, so this post will actually have 2 day's worth of stuff. But back on the topic of the band...
Well on Saturday, me and Mike were derping around on Facebook, and we decided to start a group. And so we lassoed in a few other people to the project, and now we have 4 definite members of the band (MOAR PEOPLE :3). Although we still need someone who can play either lead guitar/rhythm guitar or bass. I'm not sure which of the the 3 I'll play, or which of the 2 Mike will play. We should sort that whole thing out soon...
-Scott (trumpet)
-Me (bass/lead guitar/rhythm guitar and vocals)
-Mike (rhythm guitar/lead guitar)
-Zach (drums)
It seemed that we had most of the things we would need production and instrumentally-wise, and we also had a name. Now about the name, if you're a semi-decent detective, you probably thought the band name would be "Arrow to the Knee", right? Right, for the most part. It's actually kinda funny, because I just decided to name this project "Arrow to the Knee" after the meme (Skyrim ftw), because why not. I wasn't even thinking about it being the band's actual name. But after telling some others about the project and it's name, they seemed to think it was a pretty good name for the band as well, and I figured, "Why not?".
I found out why not about 4 hours after we had all agreed on the name. Turns out there's a small folk metal band from the UK (I'm guessing that Tamworth is in the UK, and I'm too lazy to find out otherwise) that also goes by Arrow To The Knee. They're about as far along as us, and they don't have any songs up or anything, but still.
That sucked, and we thought we would have to change our name to something else, and me and the other's are still debating whether to or not to change it. And I really hope we don't have to change, I was really starting to like that name. Although I want to keep the name the way it is, I'm still keeping my mind open to ideas.
On a different note, here's what I've done musically wise in the last 2 days:
-I've written the full lyrics to one song, but for that one song I still need to work on the music. Thinking of calling it "How Peaceful".
-I've written full music for a different song, but I have pretty much nothing lyrically for it. Don't really know what I'll call it yet.
-I'm half done with both the lyrics and the music for another song. I don't quite know what I'll call this one either.
-Worked on some random bass riffs and listened to a whole bunch of music.
So yeah, I'm really not sure what to do at this point except maybe work on the songwriting more, debate on whether or not to change the name of the group, and feel sorry for myself due to my emotional and personal problems (Oh, woe is me). I think that's about all that need's saying. I guess I'll update this thing tomorrow again, and I'll post anything I've forgotten today then. But until then... Я нaдеюсь, все вы замечательный день, и до встречи в следующий раз! Кроме того, если вы перевели это, вы выиграете печенье.
